CAIA and CCI Partnerships Promote Cyberbiosecurity and Data Analytics in Virginia’s Food and Agriculture System

The purpose of these seed projects is to increase the network of faculty across the Commonwealth Cyber Initiative, Southwest Virginia Node and the Commonwealth, engaging in the research, implementation, and execution of cyber-physical systems, cyberbiosecurity, and data analytics in service to agricultural and food systems applications. It also seeks to engage Extension agents and specialists who network across the Commonwealth and external industry partners in order to extend that knowledge into the broader domain. The CAIA Affiliate Faculty on these projects now have preliminary data to add value to proposals targeting external (e.g. federal) funding and partnerships in topics related to cyberbiosecurity and data analytics.
