My research focuses on developing food- and bio-processing technologies to produce food ingredients, animal feed, and green chemicals from agricultural and food products for improving the sustainability of the food production chain. Our group is specifically interested in exploring novel solutions (e.g., fermentation, extraction, fractionation, etc.) to convert food waste/byproducts to value-added product
