Where should the U.S. scientific and engineering enterprise be in 10 years? What actions can those in government, industry, and academia take so that the U.S. continues to lead in innovation in 2030? In McCray’s talk is titled, Vision 2030: A Roadmap for Science and Engineering from The National Science Board,” he will discuss the National Science Board’s Vision 2030, which offers a roadmap for how the U.S. can reinvent aspects of its scientific and engineering enterprise to remain preeminent, with calls to action in four key areas: practice of science and engineering, talent, partnerships, and infrastructure.
