CAIA Testbed: Middleburg Agricultural Research and Extension Center

The CAIA testbed at the Middleburg Agricultural Research and Extension Center is available for research, teaching, and extension activities focused on precision monitoring and management of horses and cattle. The site is 20 acres of pasture with a central area to house precision technology, as well as animal feeding and watering equipment. The Middleburg AREC is approximately a 4 hour drive from Blacksburg campus and is conveniently located to the D.C. airports and the Innovation campus.
