Research Profile:

My lab's research interest is at the interface of physical and life sciences. We use our mechanical science and engineering knowledge to discover the physical underpinnings of living systems’ behaviors and to pioneer innovative solutions to address grand challenges in human health and food, air, and water security. Our current research interests include the development of distributed mobile sensor networks and bio-inspired microrobotic systems to monitor plants and pests to increase crop yield and minimize environmental impact.
