- School of Plant and Environmental Sciences
My research interests center on plant compounds of importance to human and animal health, and how stresses or cultural practices modulate these compounds in plants. I use an interdisciplinary approach, using a variety of tools from biochemistry to remote sensing, and collaborate with colleagues in different disciplines. The ultimate goal of my research program is to improve crop quality and yield, food security, and human health and nutrition.
